WIFS weekly news #30: Early birds and Low-cost birds

Do not forget the deadline for the early bird registration is next Monday, after that the fees will increase in 200$.

Here is another tip if you want to save money: there are a lot of low-cost flight companies proposing cheap flights to Tenerife South or North airports (if you have the choice between the two options, note that the South airport is much closer to the conference venue).

You’ll find the full list of the companies that serve the South Airport on this wikipedia page and the North Airport on this page.

Few examples:

  • Easyjet have direct flights from Berlin-Schönefeld, Bristol, Edinburgh, London-Gatwick, Manchester
  • Jetairfly have direct flights from Brussels, Brussels South-Charleroi, Gran Canaria, Liege, Ostend-Bruges
  • Ryanair have direct flights from Asturias, Barcelona, Beauvais, Bergamo, Billund, Birmingham, Bologna, Bristol, Bremen, Brussels South-Charleroi, Cork, Derry, Dublin, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Glasgow-Prestwick, Hahn, Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden, Leeds/Bradford, Liverpool, London-Luton, London-Stansted, Manchester, Madrid, Palermo, Pisa, Santander, Santiago de Compostela, Seville, Valencia and Weeze
  • Thomas Cook Airlines Scandinavia have direct flights from Billund, Copenhagen, Helsinki, Orebro, Oslo-Gardermoen, Stockholm-Arlanda
  • Transavia Airlines have direct flights from Amsterdam, Eindhoven, Groningen, Maastricht, Rotterdam and Paris
  • TUIfly has direct flights from Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Hanover, Munich, Stuttgart, Zweibrücken, Basel/Mulhouse, Cologne/Bonn or Hamburg
Together with the conferences fees and the accommodation, it is definitely possible that your whole budget for the conference be under 1000 euros. Are you going to miss it?

The Tenerife Airport is waiting for you!
